The improvements include sidewalk upgrades, ADA accessibility upgrades, improvements to the drainage, resurfacing of the roadway, new crosswalks with paver inlays for increased visibility, enhanced landscaping with new trees and a new parking lot. 66th Avenue Grade Separation

The 66th Avenue Grade Separation project consists of a new bridge crossing over State Route (SR) 111, Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks, and Hammond Road including realignment of SR 111. Due to the projected regional population growth, the vehicular and train traffic is expected to increase and cause additional congestion and delays at 4th Street, SR 111, and Hammond Road.

Bartlett Springs over Cache Creek Bridge Rehabilitation

In 2019, MGE was issued a 3-year (with 2 option years) contract to provide construction management services as required for replacement or rehabilitation of County bridge projects. Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) and Toll Credit funds are being used for the bridge projects. MGE recently completed the following project under this contract.
